Lehigh Acres
Lehigh High Acres was created in the mid 1950s when Chicago businessman, Lee Ratner, bought 20,000 acres of land as a cattle ranch for tax purposes. After running "the "Lucky Lee Ranch" for a few years, Ratner visualized it as a thriving community. It is due to his foresight and understanding that Lehigh Acres has become the flourishing community it is today!
Since the days of the Lucky Lee Ranch the boundaries of Lehigh Acres have stretched to cover over 102 square miles, with over 152,000 lots.
